Are you interested in improving your balance, muscle strength, flexibility and mobility?

Tai Ji Quan-Moving for Better Balance

A group based exercise class designed to help older adults improve balance and reduce the likelihood of falling through the use of slow coordinated Tai Ji Quan movements.  Participants will enhance balance skills, body alignment, muscle strength, flexibility and mobility during this hour long class.  It has also been shown to reduce stress, anxiety and depression. Forms are adapted from the traditional Tai Chi movements to focus specifically on balance concerns.

TIME:  April 1st-June 11th, Monday & Wednesday 9:15-10:15
